In Pam's Words

My fitness and energy career started when I could no longer ignore the desire to get in the best shape of my life and no longer wanted to silence my inner voice, which was telling me it was time to create the life that I truly desired!  I then was helped along with a life-changing moment on a particularly grueling business trip to Europe, and the rest, as they say, is history!

The moment came spontaneously - I was sitting in a client's cafeteria when I suddenly blurted to a co-worker that I wanted to open a wellness center.  I sat there surprised, as this was not something I had contemplated before.  My colleague looked at me and, without missing a beat, said that he would be my first investor. That was all I needed. On the plane ride home, I wrote my business plan.

The wellness center is not a reality (yet!), but my company is.  And it excites me to know that our work inspires so many to take charge of their lives and find their path to well-being.  I know it can be done, I get what it takes, and I know what it means.  For me, it meant my life!

I was a burnt out, stressed out, and overweight, out-of-shape professional with a successful career (at least outwardly). But on the inside, I knew it wasn't for me. I continued to rely on my adrenaline, and I muscled my way

through my work (and my life). I kept a smile and upbeat attitude, because that was what I thought I was supposed to do and, quite frankly, I really did not know what else there was to do. My body started to fail me, and others began to notice I was not happy. What now seems so simple was not easy back then. But when I gave into the internal wisdom that seemed to want to lead me, I was filled with the confidence and deep knowing that what I wanted to do was right, that it would be meaningful, and that I could build a company that stayed true to its calling and be successful by traditional business standards.  The journey is not always easy, but it is always filled with joy!
